World Tourism Day 2025: Tourism and Sustainable Transformation

Under the theme "Tourism and Sustainable Transformation", the Society took part in various programmes from early morning: at Pokhara International Airport, followed by a peace rally, a midday programme with Nepal Tourism Board, and an afternoon joint programme at the Tourist Bus Park.

Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province and Pokhara Tourism Council organised the programmes by bringing together all tourism-related associations of Pokhara. It was perhaps the first such programme in which everyone felt a sense of ownership.

Sincere thanks to Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province and Pokhara Tourism Council. This programme has certainly energised the tourism entrepreneurs of Pokhara, and we are hopeful it will continue.
