Established in 2057 BS (2000 AD), Hotel Representative Society, Pokhara (होटल प्रतिनिधि समाज पोखरा) brings together the hotel representatives who are often the first people visitors meet when they arrive in Pokhara at the airport or tourist bus park.
The Society was founded to manage and facilitate the arrival of tourists in Pokhara. Over more than two decades, it has also become an active partner in public safety, often described by its members as “police without uniform”, and in social and humanitarian service.
Today the Society works closely with Pokhara's tourism organisations, Nepal Tourism Board, Pokhara Tourism Council and Nepal Police to make Pokhara a safe, welcoming destination for every traveller.

Our objectives
- Organise and support the hotel representatives who welcome visitors arriving in Pokhara.
- Ensure tourists are guided to trusted accommodation without harassment or inconvenience.
- Cooperate with Tourist Police Pokhara, ward police offices and local government for a safe city.
- Work alongside Pokhara's tourism bodies to promote Pokhara as a safe and welcoming destination.
- Provide relief and humanitarian support to communities during disasters and emergencies.
- Look after the welfare, identity and professional development of member representatives.
